Uddhav Thackeray will be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, said- never dreamed that I will become CM

The next Chief Minister of Maharashtra will be Uddhav Thackeray. It was stamped in the Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena meeting held at Hotel Trident in Mumbai today. The NCP proposed his name and the other parties approved it. On Tuesday, Ajit Pawar and then Devendra Fadnavis resigned, after which all speculation about the government in Maharashtra came to an end.

After this, Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress held a meeting at Trident Hotel in which all big leaders including Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Ashok Chavan were present. The meeting proposed to make the alliance a Mahavikas Aghadi. Uddhav Thackeray was then elected the leader of Mahavikas Aghadi. During this, Uddhav also touched Sharad Pawar’s feet. Jayant Patil of NCP proposed Uddhav Thackeray’s name for the post of CM, Balasaheb Thorat of Congress and other leaders supported it.

Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at the BJP after being elected the leader of the alliance. He said that I never dreamed that I would become CM. Such an opportunity has come for the first time in life. BJP betrayed us, they broke 30 years of friendship. BJP has poison towards us. I am sorry to hear Fadnavis. We will work as a family, so that the common people feel that they have a government.
