Indian team declared for women’s cricket / West Indies round, Mithali in ODIs and Harmanpreet captain in T20

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday declared the ODI and T20 women’s team for the West Indies tour. Mithali Raj was made the captain of the ODI team, while the command of T20 was handed over to Harmanpreet Singh. The Indian team has to play three ODIs and five T20s from 1 to 20 November in the West Indies.

Mithali announced her retirement from T20 International last month. Harmanpreet was named vice-captain in ODIs. While Smriti Mandhana was given vice-captain in T20. The Indian team will play all three ODIs in Antigua, while five T20s will be in St. Lucia and Guyana.

Mithali Raj (captain), Harmanpreet Kaur (vice-captain), Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Punam Raut, D Hemlata, Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey, Mansi Joshi, Poonam Yadav, Ekta Bisht, Rajeshwari Gaekwad, Tania Bhatia ( Wicketkeeper), Priya Punia and Sushma Verma.

T20 team

Harmanpreet Kaur (captain), Smriti Mandhana (vice-captain), Jemimah Rodrigues, Shefali Verma, Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Tanya Bhatia (wicketkeeper), Poonam Yadav, Radha Yadav, Veda Krishnamurthy, Anuja Patil, Shikha Pandey, Pooja Vastrakar, Mansi Joshi and Arundhati Reddy.
